Crystal Cove Tide Pools

January 2nd - Newport Beach & Crystal Cove

Newport Beach is about 40 miles south of LA/Santa Monica. It is quite a well-to-do area with fancy houses and fancy boats around. Home to the infamous wives of orange county and of course that fab soap, the OC. We went for a walk in El Moro canyon first and then explored the tidepools at Crystal Cove, after a quick lunch in Ruby's Shake Shack, over looking the ocean.
