little ballerina

Scarlett has started ballet classes in Santa Monica and we bought this cute outfit from the Dance Store on Robertson. Scarlett wont wear anything else at the moment.

wave chasing at Malibu

mmm but does the water look brown to you too? no sign of the killer white

possibly the most expensive trip to a beach ever

If you click on the top photo you may see in the top left corner a typical Malibu senior citizen - wizened like a walnut with a prawn cracker placed on each eyeball to prevent crows feet.

We spent Sunday at Paradise Cove by way of the PCH, Malibu. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday as it was really really hot (92 degrees) which was luckily tempered by the haze. We did wait 2 hours for lunch and were then stung by lunch which we had gone for to get the parking validation and then missed the validation time slot so had to pay for a full days parking too. Yikes could have bought some fantastic shoes with that $$$. That is Malibu for you.

this is my reaction every time Mummy gets Sophie out of the bath first

We went on the Carousel on the pier - me, Mummy and Sophie. We went round twice. The first time I sat with my Mummy and Sophie in the carriage (Sophie was sick coz it went round and round), and the second time I went on a horse all by myself.

bit of culture

Q: So what is it like where you are?

yep, this is a photo of our fridgelaundry room area, hmm that is not exciting you say - but look at the size of those things

Scarlett and Sophie's room

Driving on the 405, Saturday afternoon, 5 lanes of traffic

day in the life of two monkeys

enjoying a spaghetti dinner

getting ready for bed
standard breakfast at chez Klein

Head to the pool if the temperature is 70 or above.

Mummy is being driven around the proverbial bend/fork/twist in the road and is wondering how other mummies or mommies keep their mind and their tempers?? I think that Mummy snapped today over a pretzel: I (Scarlett) ate a big breakfast and then within 30 minutes wanted a pretzel from wertzers and cried and whined and begged for it, and then when I'd eaten half of it with chewed pretzel still hanging in my mouth, I decided to cry and sulk and shout at Mummy to get me another one.

going to Culver City

killing time in the Allied Model Train store on Sepulveda. They sell Thomas here but its the upmarket, wood only kind.

Having eaten a delicious grilled cheese sandwich at Meltdown, Culver City, CA. It was seriously cheesy.

late afternoon in Holmby Park, Westwood

After a difficult shopper-tunity in Target (yes again but tho its pikey it is such good value) diffficult because trying to pick up a few things with the Terrible Two is such hard work, we headed up to the extremely high end Westwood area north of Wilshire to a swanky park. In Target, Scarlett needed at least 2 toilet breaks and of course a couple of pink baby dolls, a scooter, sweets, blah blah blah

Look at me Sophie!
